One-word Spam

Recommended Posts

Draper

I am seeing an alarming increase in one-word Spam. This should be a pretty easy rule to follow. Don't make a post with just one word in it or just one emoji. It will be deleted if noticed. I am asking the mods to be more strict with this. We have a lot of reactions already, which often would serve the same purpose without cluttering the topics for other members.

I assume I can use one word when answering a yeas or no question?

Technically, you should really try to elaborate a little. Just a yes or no does technically violate the rule.

what if we reply with one word such as Oof because there is no corresponding reaction available?

i’d day either just not reply at all, or say something like, “oof that’s rough.”

then it’s okay (:

No one-word posts, no exceptions outside of Spam City.

Just say "I'm praying!" easy peasy.

All one-word posts are spam. Not all two-word posts are spam. Some two-word posts are spam, but not because they use two-words.

Haha, actually, I think it was the simplest way to put it correctly. The question was somewhat loaded. If I simply said "yes, two words is not spam" that implies that any post, as long as it has at least two words, is not spam (which of course is not the case). I would have drawn a Venn diagram to illustrate if I could have. When making rules, I have to be as precise as possible because I know you members will search for any loophole.

Any loopholes that exist, whether known or not, will attract the rebellious children like moths to a light XD
